Esqobar is a Colombian DJ and musical composer with emphasis on Film Scoring. His music has participated in spaces like the International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias, Red de Bibliotecas Públicas de Bogotá, Cinemateca Distrital, Planetario de Bogotá, IDARTES, Escuela Nacional de Cine Helena Films and he is an award winner for best sound at Festival Mambe 2018. He has also participated as a composer, arranger and music producer in “El Atillo Records”. In 2019 and 2020 participate as an expert developing labor regulations in the SENA music sector table. He has been a teacher at music academies like AMA Conservatory, DNA Music and currently Digital Lab.
Esqobar took part in the Development of “PYNSTRYP“, a DJ / Producer duet of Melodic House and Progressive which played in spaces like Armando Records, Franja Electrónica Radiónica, RPM Records, LEDE CLUB, Vinyl Box Music Center, Miranda Club, Red Room Bar, Alineation Radio, Radio, Bleep, The Golden Dagger, Natural Mystic, Oppose Radio Show. They also are winners of El Arte de Ser DJ Contest in 2018. PYNSTRYP was part of music labels like Sonnet Speciale, Underground Savant and Beesound Records.
He is currently carrying out his personal project “Esqobar & The Fruits Orchestra” as DJ / Producer of Progressive House, making use of conductive music with unconventional objects like fruits. Esqobar is also a ROLI ambassador and her live sets are an extraordinary experience for the public. He is now part of music labels such as Natura Viva (ITA), BQ Recordings (RUS), Cuxta Records (MEX).
